Examples can include the development of new nature reserves, wetlands and reservoirs, and new refuse and sewage disposal works. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Birdstrike zones are always associated with MOD Aerodromes. Birdstrike zones are usually a singular buffer to a set distance.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Center;font-weight:bold;font-size:16ptmargin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>SAFEGUARDING EXTENT</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN /></P><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>MOD Safeguarding data relating to MOD Aerodromes. The Safeguarding Extent data constitutes an overall footprint feature for each safeguarded Aerodrome. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="font-size:16ptmargin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN>The purpose of this data is ensuring criteria is in place for consultations relating to micro gliding, gliding and hang-gliding sites.
