Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;">AERODROME TECHNICAL HEIGHTS (3D COLOURS)MOD Safeguarding data relating to MOD estate that constitutes or holds Aerodrome and/or Technical assets. The term 'height limits' refers to the fact that safeguarding criteria for these zones is defined by the development height. This dataset sets out safeguarding consultation criteria based on the maximum allowable height for a development at a given location within the safeguarding zone footprint. Examples can include the development of new nature reserves, wetlands and reservoirs, and new refuse and sewage disposal works. Birdstrike zones are always associated with MOD Aerodromes. Birdstrike zones are usually a singular buffer to a set distance.SAFEGUARDING EXTENTMOD Safeguarding data relating to MOD Aerodromes. The Safeguarding Extent data constitutes an overall footprint feature for each safeguarded Aerodrome. The purpose of this data is ensuring criteria is in place for consultations relating to micro gliding, gliding and hang-gliding sites. DIO Safeguarding should be consulted on all applications associated with these activities.</DIV>
